As a globally respected speaker, Secker has shared the stage with the world’s renowned businesspersons, including Richard Branson.
He started his career by working for Thomas Cook Financial Services. Later, Secker ventured into the lucrative foreign exchange business to operate a new business known as Virtual Trading Desk. This company developed a real-time Forex Trading platform that allowed customers to obtain real-time quotes for large foreign exchange transactions.
Later, Greg Secker was recruited to serve as the vice president of Mellon Financial Corporation, a renowned Fortune 500 company. At Mellon, Secker was fortunate enough to work alongside the leading traders worldwide. Greg added value to the company’s operations by applying the same trading strategies that he had discovered while he was working in different trading floor across the world. Following the corporation’s growth, Greg opted to retire from Mellon and create a trading floor in his house. Within three months of operation, he founded his firm, Learn to Trade.
In the last 13 years, over 200,000 people have benefited greatly from his numerous trading seminars and workshops. People have become experts on how to produce secondary income trading in the currency markets. During the 2010 London Excellence Awards, Secker was a prized finalist. His company claimed the 49th spot in the 2010 Sunday Times Fast Track 100 Awards. For two years running, World Finance Magazine has recognized Learn to Trade as the Best Educator. Recently, Secker was honored as the Best Forex Educator in Global Banking & Finance Review. He also received the Best Trading Education Product from the Wealth and Finance Awards.
In 2010, Greg established the Secker Foundation. The objective of this non-profit organization is to positively progress the quality of life of individuals worldwide. To this end, the entity partners with a number of youth initiatives to improve their life skills, leadership abilities, and education in different communities. Secker launched Build a House Build a Home initiative following his visit to the Philippines where he saw the effects of Typhoon Yolanda.
